About this tool

Everything you need to know about Vocabulary Audio Generator

Audio for a word list, not a paragraph — short items, often dozens at a time, each one needing a clean pause before and after so a listener can repeat or write it down. Paste a vocabulary list, including a second language if the list has one, and generate one file per set.

Vocabulary Audio Generator — FAQ

How is this different from flashcard audio?

Flashcard audio pairs a term with a prompt-and-reveal format; this produces a plain sequential list — paste the words and get one file with clean spacing between them.

Can one file cover two languages?

Yes, alternate lines by language and assign a voice to each so the pronunciation is accurate for both.

How much space is between words?

You set it: insert a pause tag between entries, up to 10 seconds each and 20 per generation — a longer list can be split across generations or laid out with pause blocks in the project editor.

Is there a limit on list length?

Character limits follow your plan: 1,000 on Free, 10,000 on Lite, 40,000 on Pro, so a very long list may need to be split.
