About this tool

Everything you need to know about Multi-Speaker Video Dubbing

Interviews, video podcasts and panels have more than one voice, and a dub has to keep them apart. After analysis the Studio labels lines speaker-1, speaker-2 and so on, and you cast one voice per speaker in a single move. You can also keep the original speaker on any lines you skip. The original audio can stay faintly under the dub using Duck mode, which lowers it while the dub speaks. There is no separation of music from voice, so the original speaker is faintly audible under Level or Duck. Dubbing is available on paid plans. Uploading is free and the price is shown before you analyze.

FAQ

Multi-Speaker Video Dubbing — FAQ

Something not covered here? Contact us · support@vocallab.ai

How does the Studio tell speakers apart?

Analysis labels lines speaker-1, speaker-2 and so on. Check the labels, then assign each one a voice.

Can I keep one speaker in their real voice?

Yes. Lines you do not voice keep the original speaker, so you can dub a guest and leave the host untouched.

Will the original audio be removed?

You choose Off, Level or Duck. Off replaces it. Level keeps it at a constant volume. Duck lowers it while the dub speaks.

Can music be kept without the original voices?

No. The Studio does not separate music from voice, so anything left under the dub includes the original speakers.

Does it work on the free plan?

No. Dubbing needs a paid plan. Uploading is free and the price is shown before analysis.

Dub the video in Studio.

Upload the video, pick a target language and voice the lines. Dubbing is on paid plans; uploading is free.
